Took the three youngest on a 560 mile one day roundtrip to see Dr. John play at Bles Alley on Wisconsin. Ended the visit to D.C. at the Lincoln Memorial.

Thanks to you, too, anon #2!

And anon #1....okay...one specific 'fallacious correlation' will do.

Remember that phrase from the 911 Commission Report: a failure of imagination?Denis Keohanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11931467085232813353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2359698087928768667.post-38643343195977466602007-10-18T18:29:00.000-04:002007-10-18T18:29:00.000-04:00If only Gore had attempted to critically sift thro...If only Gore had attempted to critically sift through mountains of data, distinguish between reliable and unreliable climate models, and astutely analyze volumes of esoteric scientific reports and studies to determine with something like crystal clarity what will most assuredly happen in the future.

In fact, if you try to find his specific facts that demonstrate the relationship between humans and global warming, he presents only one idea. It involves carbon dioxide.

According to him, CO2 has been dramatically increasing because of our use of carbons much faster than it ever has in history.

The problem with this is that CO2 makes up ony 20 parts of greenhouse gasses per thousand. In contrast, water is 600 parts.

Further 2/3 of those 20 parts are produced by the earth naturally. Just because he claims to be able to point to a high percentage of change in CO2, he is still talking about a nearly insignificant amount of the total.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2359698087928768667.post-60084251089273219912007-10-18T14:05:00.000-04:002007-10-18T14:05:00.000-04:00Fantastic article!I totally agree with what you st...Fantastic article!

I totally agree with what you stated about Algoron, being able to analyze all of the complex and ever interchanging data.
I personally wouldnt put him in charge of a hot dog stand!
If he ever were to get some real authority to implement his inane ideas, he would put the US back PAST the stoneage!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2359698087928768667.post-68999321157174311952007-10-18T13:30:00.000-04:002007-10-18T13:30:00.000-04:00I am usually a big fan of articles on American Thi...I am usually a big fan of articles on American Thinker, but this article is a fraud.
